Causes and treatment of night sweats - Interview with Dr. Artour Rakhimov Artour Rakhimov

TITLES IN THIS MOVIE:
Night sweats due to cachexia is caused by very poor DIY body oxygen test result (below 10 s) due to heavy breathing. Breathing retraining up to the medical norm (40 s) eliminates this symptom.

Menopausal hot flashes at night in women are reduced with Buteyko Emergency Breathing Exercise (shown in our other videos).

In this video, Dr. Artour Rakhimov addresses the question, “What are the causes of night sweats and how to treat them?”. For men and women, there are possibly different causes. The condition can develop in men from cancer, HIV and some other conditions. People with night sweats wake up at night around 3-4 times. Their bed linens can be totally soaked from this very unpleasant condition. Night sweats can be intensified due to having anxiety and stress. The causes are difficult to specify and science is still trying to define them. More details about causes and treatment options for heavy sweating at night are available here: http://www.normalbreathing.com/e/night-sweats.php . The Spanish version of this page “Sudores fríos nocturnos: señal de O2 corporal bajo” is here: http://www.respiracionnormal.org/sudores-nocturnos/ .

Women with menopausal hot flashes require a similar approach that is based on Buteyko Emergency Breathing Exercise since menopausal flashes at night in women are reduced with Reduced Breathing Exercise (shown in our other videos).

Breathing retraining students have found that it is possible to get rid of night sweats. It is a relatively fast process for most people that takes about 1 to 2 weeks. When students practice breathing retraining, they increase their body-oxygen level and have improved circulation. Also, participating in physical exercise is a very powerful factor that helps to get rid of night sweats. Dr. Artour Rakhimov had students engage in intensive physical exercise with sweating occurring. Then they would notice that they sweat a lot less during the night. The students would exercise with a 100 % nasal breathing. Night sweating might be a reaction to an excess of toxicity. When people have later stages of heart disease, cancer, HIV-AIDS, diabetes, cystic fibrosis and other diseases, they can experience these symptoms because of toxicity in their bodies.

All these people with night sweats due to cachexia have less than 10 seconds on the body-oxygen test. This indicates a very low level of oxygen according to this DIY type of CP test. Thus, breathing retraining and physical exercise can greatly reduce night sweating in a few weeks time. Specifically, about 1 hour to 90 minutes of breathing retraining is recommended. This will slow down unconscious breathing patterns throughout the day. Students will experience better sleep, they will get more energy, they will be able to exercise more and they will be able to strictly breathe through their nose. This will occur once their body-oxygen test levels increase. Having higher body oxygen levels dramatically reduces night sweats and over time it will completely eliminate the problem. Breathing retraining is a completely natural solution to night sweats.

Dr. Artour Rakhimov holds classes for Buteyko breathing practitioners. These courses teach how to start your own practice and how to professionally teach lectures. The requirements for students include attending 2 of Dr. Artour Rakhimov's lectures. The lectures can be set up by a practitioner locally (in the UK, EU, Canada, USA, Australia or New Zealand) or by Dr. Artour Rakhimov. Then the trainee has to teach 2 lectures to 1-2 individuals for having applicable experience. The proceeding step has the trainee attend Dr. Artour Rakhimov's usual group course and individual classes (these are private lessons for most students or those with health problems requiring additional support). Moreover, the new breathing retraining teacher has to teach his own course. The course is taught to about 2 or more individuals under supervision. If students have 30+ seconds on their morning control pause, they can be a part of the advanced course. The course has students get up to 45-50 seconds and more for their MCP. Also, there are specific lessons for acquiring additional skills to particular cases and situations.
